oh malia! this just makes me so sad. your last post and this one just break my heart. If you need anything, let me know. It has been too long since we have gotten together for fun. I'm game.
Well this shows how out of touch we've been for the past 10 years... I didn't know your Dad had passed away. I am SO sorry for your loss. We've had some similiar circumstances in our family, and I know the sadness of loss never really goes away. God be with you!
Malia, what a beautiful picture! I remember many, many summer nights when your dad would do just that...sit on the front porch with a guitar or ukalele and sing for what seemed like hours. I loved to open our front window and lay on the couch in our living room and just listen. He had such a beautiful voice (which, fortunately, he passed on to his children!) I remeber vividly the day he passed away and sometimes my mom and I still cry about it together. You and your family were such dear friends to us. I miss and love all of you so much. I hope we can see each other again soon.
I can't believe that it has been 8 years. You are the greatest Malia, and that is the neatest picture. That was really tender, and made me cry. Hope you are well. Much love!
ooooh i tried his patience in every way. and yet, he still taught me to playe the uke and recorder, to dance hawaiian dances and sing "jeremiah was a bullfrog."

Malia thanks for such beautiful posts. I am thinking of you, as always, but especially now. Love you much. I love that picture as well. :)
Love you Malia. I'm feel so lucky to call you a friend.
Wow that's such a neat picture to see of your dad. Your post was very touching about your dad, I told my mom about it. That was a life changing day.
On a happier note....I found your blog! Yeah! I love all your entries!
